Where OC Hoops
Gets Noticed

I played varsity basketball at Ventura High School and went on to earn a degree in Applied Mathematics from Cal State Long Beach. While at CSULB, I worked as a student intern in the athletics department, which is where I developed a real foundation in sports analytics.

I started OC Prep Hoops with two things in mind: building a genuine community around Orange County basketball, and making sure no player gets overlooked. There are kids putting up big numbers in gyms across OC every night with nobody in the stands who can do anything about it. That is exactly what this is for.

Every evaluation I do pulls from both modern analytics and a natural feel for the game. Numbers matter, but they have never told the whole story.
