Caprio's a freshman going up against bigger, stronger players all day, and it didn't faze him one bit. He led the entire event in 3-point shooting, going 19-of-25 (76%), and won the 3/4 court sprint outright at 2.51 seconds. He carried that shooting into live 5-on-5 too, not just the shooting test. Wouldn't have expected anything more from this kid, he played about as close to a perfect day as you'll see. He also took bronze in lane agility (6.33 seconds) and tied for the field's best off-move 3-point mark at 8-of-10 (80%).
Hall's game reminds me a bit of Ryan Gov, the 2026 Cypress grad whose spot Hall is stepping into. He's really skilled with the ball in his hands, consistently beat his defender off the dribble, and has that ability to make tough shots. The testing backed it up. He went a perfect 10-for-10 (100%) on off-move mid-range shots, the best shooting number of the day, tied for the field's best off-move 3-point mark at 8-of-10 (80%), and took bronze in the 3/4 court sprint at 2.54 seconds.
Moussa might be the most intriguing prospect in the group. He's a 7-footer with a legitimately strong outside shot, going 16-of-25 (64%) from three, third-best in the field. His length and reach (a field-best 9'0" standing reach) make him a menace in the paint. His strength still leaves some to be desired though, and that's the area I'd like to see him really work on, especially his inside game.
DeGuzman impressed with his handle and guard skills. He didn't force anything and made good reads all day in the 5-on-5s. He's a true combo guard who can play either the 1 or the 2, with nice size to go with it, and he's been one of the best players in the Empire League for Kennedy since his sophomore year. He also took bronze in the max vertical test at 35.7 inches, notable pop for a 5'11" guard, and his 6'1.5" wingspan runs positive against his height.
Lopez pairs guard skills with wing size, and it makes him a very tough matchup for opposing defenses. He's effective from mid-range and shoots right over his defender, and he plays above the rim at 6'3". He'll have to sit out this season at Canyon but will be playing with Elev8 Prep in the meantime. At evaluation day he took silver in lane agility (6.00 seconds) and shared the field's best mid-range shooting mark with Isaiah Cater and Jonathan Vasquez-Dao, all three going 15-of-20 (75%).
Ryan has the most complete all-around physical profile in the group, backed up by an 8'4" standing reach (second-best of the day), a 33.9-inch vertical, and a 2.82 in the 3/4 sprint. He's grown 1.5 inches since the end of last season. He also had the play of the day, a crazy contact dunk in transition, and was effective getting the ball up the floor and all the way to the rim. His handle could be a bit tighter, but it worked well enough at this event.
